VNG
Videonystagmography (VNG) is a test that detects nystagmus, a form of involuntary eye movement. It occurs when the brain receives contradictory information from the eyes and the inner ear's balancing system. These contradictory messages might make you dizzy. If you experience it while you don't move your head or if it lasts a long period, you may have a vestibular system issue.
Organs, nerves, and structures in the inner ear make up your vestibular system. It is the major point of balance in your body. Your eyes, sense of touch, and brain all work together to create the vestibular system. To keep your equilibrium, your brain communicates with the many systems in your body.
